Community Partnership
Nurturing Creativity is an award-winning community interest company formed by Sally and Anne, the founders of Northern Arts Factory, along with four other passionate and talented individuals. They are all from different backgrounds but are dedicated to making a difference for those that have suffered any form of disadvantage.

From their 18 years work in Bradford schools both Sally and Anne knew they wanted to afford all children the opportunities offered by performing arts, but that it needed a different approach to reach some groups.
Nurturing Creativity’s mission is to empower target groups who have suffered any form of disadvantage. They aim to provide physical, social and emotional support through performing and creative arts. Northern Arts Factory team are proud to work in partnership with Nurturing Creativity to deliver the performing arts aspects of their community programs.
Our work in the community is already being recognised, being crowned Yorkshire & Humber Regional HAF (Holiday, Activity & Food) Champions awarded by the DFE (Department For Education) at the houses of parliament last year for the Healthy Holiday Clubs we’ve supported with funding by Calderdale Council.
